Regulars return like Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles, and Colin Mochrie. However, the new show will not be hosted by Drew Carey. Instead it will be hosted by....

Aisha Tyler?

I don't know much about her, but she has a comic background so it might be better than I'm thinking. I LOVED this show though. The hardest I've ever laughed was at Whose Line, including these:

So, I'm hoping it's as good as it used to be.

I remember the original episodes before Wayne Brady had his own talk/Vegas show, some freaking hilarious skits.

Makes sense since none of them have much of a career going currently...I'm glad to have the show back, I loved watching it.

Kerry Washington and Gabrielle Union are hotter, however probably not as funny.

I'd take her over either, she plays video games, smokes cigars and loves micro brewery beers. Oh and she's married to a white man. I wouldn't say no to either you mentioned though :D

I don't want to derail my own thread... but I had to google both of those and disagree on the Kerry front. That's all I'll say about that though.

Just wasted time watching whose line clips and now I'm up too late. Ah well, time well spent :D

It won't be the same without Drew at the helm, although that's shouldn't matter too much for the skits.

That Richard Simmons clip might literally be the funniest thing that has ever happened.

Am I the only one who thinks the show is partially scripted? Most scenes are too good to be true.

They must practice partially so they'll get an idea to make spontaneous jokes.

Pretty sure it was at least somewhat scripted. I believe there was/is a British version that was truly unscripted.

I loved the UK version, Comedy Central used to show it way back when. The host was better than Drew imo and Greg Proops was on it more.

Probably a little, but I did see Wayne Brady live (came to our university). Some people are just very good at improv.

Actually they are all pretty much random. Sure they have practiced the games before, but not what to say or what topics will happen. Some actors are amazing at improv performances.

(John C McGuinley, [Dr. Cox from scrubs] does most his lines improvin the things he does if the directors let him.)

Brad Sherwood and Colin from Whose line is it anyway do an improv show using the audience to yell out suggestions playing out games similar to these.

One of their shows is on netflix (forget the name).

The finale game on their show was funny.

They had to do the alphabet game (start at a certain letter, each reponse after that must be next letter in the alphabet until all 26 letters are completed) blindfolded, with no shoes or socks on with 100 mousetraps on the ground and 10 hung about head level on strings around them.
