So they caught our local serial rapist yesterday....

Police have arrested a 17-year-old male for allegedly forcing his way into a DeKalb County apartment and raping a 34-year-old woman Tuesday night.

Officers took Carlos Johnson, Jr., of Clarkston, Ga., into custody Wednesday morning after questioning him the day before. He?s charged with aggravated assault and criminal attempted rape, police said, for a reported assault at the Colonial Garden Apartments, near McClendon Drive.

The 34-year-old alleged victim told police Johnson forced his way into her apartment about 8 p.m. Tuesday, and assaulted her. Officers were already in the area working on two other cases when they received word of the rape.

They searched another apartment near the crime scene and then began going door to door talking to residents.

DeKalb police spokesman Dale Davis said, ?We want the people in the community to continue to use due caution. We do know that the individual we have in custody, Carlos Johnson, Jr., is involved with the incident that occurred last night.?

Police said they held a meeting about two weeks ago concerning two previous rapes in the area. One happened in May and the second at the beginning of September.

It's looking like he's the guy mentioned in the two rapes at the bottom of the story. One of these happened in broad daylight on the bike path I use almost every day within a quarter-mile of the Clarkston police station. The 15% of you assholes out there (you know who you are) need to think about this guy coming after your mom/sister/etc w/regard to your votes yesterday.

Have you ever looked into self-defense or martial arts training for you and your wife? My wife and I have been studying Jiu-Jitsu for almost two years now. I feel much more comfortable with her self defense skills as a result. Her improvement since when we used to 'play fight' is simply astounding. I can't tickle her at will any more.
