Pretty crazy stuff. All sorts of classic cars and people all dressed up. A badass stingray is parked right in front of my place. From what I understand it is all back shots with extras and stuff.
Taping is supposed to run until like 4am tonight and then again all day and all night tomorrow.

I snapped a couple pics with my droid and will have um up.

They are actually running a bunch of wires and shit through my yard so this morning they cut us a check for $100 for the trouble. We didn't even ask. I kinda feel like that Simpsons episode when they were shooting the Radioactive Man movie and the town fleeced them.

Only shitty part is I had to park like a half a block down the street in a neighbors yard.

Should stand on your yard and see if you get shot into the video as a bystander. :p

Pretty much the entire block is trying that right now I think. We were out there for a few minutes but there wasn't really anything interesting going on...

It sucks when they do this and streets are blocked off. Albany NY has had a few movies filmed in the past couple of years, and they always block off shit so everyone needs to find other routes around the city.

I got blocked going downtown last month for Ass Backwards.

And last year for Salt. Our city must be a cheap place to film.

Would be cool to see the cars anyway. I'd be a bit pissed if I couldn't park in my own driveway though if that went on too long, $100 or not. Did they mention it beforehand or did you just come home from work one day and found out you can't park in your own driveway?

we knew coming in that we couldn't park on the street. I thought I would be able to sneak an alley but no luck.

I would have charged them $1000.

If they didn't I'd cut the wires out of my lawn and tell them to go fuck themselves.

I would assume they would just run the wires around your property if you refused their offer. No cutting necessary.

Lol, I suppose you'd be the guy to make sure a new car is parked in the driveway all day long so it would mess up any shots they were trying to take. Not that I'd be that big of a dick, but now I'm kinda curious what they would do if you did that? What if your house was in the middle of the street and they couldn't avoid the shot? Do they try to convince you with money? Have the police order you to move it from your own driveway for a movie (lol)? Otherwise they have to apply for new permits to film elsewhere.

If it was a Nicolas Cage movie I'd probably try it just to see. My defense could be I was trying to protect the public from horrible acting.
