I see tons of auctions on ebay for them, are they really selling for over 1500$? If they are, it just might be worth it.

but I doubt that I have 700$ right now. I just deposited most of the money I had saved into my college fund. we'll see.

Drop out of college and start your new career of selling items on ebay :)

sleepmachine: I have my college fund so that as long as I don't take any money out (only put in) for four years (less than two left) I make a high interest rate.

While on the subject of PS3s: how many of the units shipped to each store end up bought by the upper management?
I'm sure directors of Walmart/BB/CC and other huge stores have kids, too.

They were closing around $1,100 - $1,200 for the 60GB this morning, so not a huge profit for the people that stood in line for days.

A friend told me that one of his friends witnessed some guy in line sell his place. The guy in back of him paid him $600 for that guy's spot. Instant profit!

Once they discover the power of having a woman in their bed...teh PS3 is for entertainment...not life status nor profit.

Everywhere I go around here has signs up that "...due to something .... we don't have any PS3's ... please try 'various companies' ... there are no rainchecks.

I sort of want to try one just to see what the insanity is about.

Pretty sad if the buyer then sells the PS3 on eBay for a _$500_ profit. d'oh!!
