So the X-COM shooter is still going ahead...

With some good-looking revisions. It's now a 3rd person shooter, and is effectively a low-level real-time perspective of Enemy Unknown. In the vid they use a football analogy, saying that in Enemy Unknown you're playing the coach, whereas in The Bureau you're playing the quarterback.

I was really miffed at their first attempt, but this one shows some promise IMO. Basically Mass Effect 3 with strategy elements and what appear to be smoother controls.

I think it looks neat, I like the wheel menu. Reminds me of the radial menu in NWN which was really useful once you got a feel for it, looks like it does a good job combining strategy with realtime action. If you can do it multiplayer against some really tough AI, that could be a lot of fun. I feel like player v player teams would go poorly though.

Also the comments in there are lol
 
My one hate with mass effect 3 was that during combat the auto crouch system would soemtiems make horrible mistakes esp aruond corners - i hope they don't have that problem.
