So the Wall Street Journal uses ATOT as a source...

I checked my junk mail account (from my AT profile) and had this:
Hi, I'm a reporter for The Wall Street Journal and I'm writing a story about non-football fans. I saw your posting on a news group, and I'm hoping to interview you. If you're interested, would you send me your phone number and a good time to call? Thanks,

Jane

I remember what she's talking about - I posted it here. :Q

You know that they are going to portray you as a man-hating woman who wants to see the death of football and the rise of the Great Ovarian Society.

J/K!

Cool!

This is nothing new.

I received a similiar PM 2-3 years ago from a WSJ reporter asking me to contact them.

It's really a secret stalker here on ATOT that wants to meet you under the guise of being a "reporter" and pound you in the brown eye. How's 7 tomorrow night sound? Errr, crap....

Do it!

I'm subscribed to the WSJ so I can read the article when it's printed.

EDIT: BTW, you should ask to call them instead.

I responded, but it may be too late. The email came on the 31st (I don't check my junk mail too often). I also didn't give my phone number - I did take into account that it might be one of you dorks. 😛

It was regarding my posts in a Hot Deals thread. I called the WSJ switchboard and they confirmed that individual is a reporter for their newspaper.
