President of the MPAA, Dan Glickman, is giving a lecture at Kansas University on Wednesday, November 9. What are some questions we should drill him on if given the chance?

"Are you wearing a bullet proof vest, and is it rated for pistol or pistol/rifle?"

:D

Ok, on a more serious note. Are there any plans on marketing high bitrate (CD quality) music for download through legal channels?

"When are you going to get the the program and start offering films in a competetive fashion, rather than ripping off consumers and driving them to piracy both due to cost and ease of obtainability?"

That would probably be a good question for the RIAA president ;).

How do you plan on leveraging the internet as a distribution medium?

Or...if you want to mess with him, ask him to comment on what the MPAA learned from their opposition to the VCR.

Why are you suing an old man who has no money for his grandson downloading 4 DVD movies which 3 of them he already owns?

Question FTW is how he feels about the Grandfather he sued for $600,000 which he nicely brought down to $4,000. Then ask him how good he feels that justice is being served for the poor movie makers and actors.

You could ask him about the decline in movie quality in the past few years leading to a decline in ticket sales.

i sent him this PM (please forgive spelling)
------------------------------------
about the guy from the MPAA

ask him this and let me know an answer-

they always advertise that downloading a movie is like stealing one off a shelf some where

yet the consequences are much greater for downloading a movie vs. shoplifting one

why is this?

And if the consequences are going to be different they should be advised to stop advertising it as such

You should ask him, "What's wrong with stealing movies? That's my that's my right as an American, isn't it? What's the matter with you? Are you some sort of Nazi or something, wanting money for your products?"
