I saw a commercial for a new show called Rosemary's Baby based on the movie.

We already have Bates Motel based on Psycho. What's next?

i thought fargo was just a miniseries?

i also find it funny that during the advertisements for it (which they show ALL THE FUCKING TIME) it says "an FX original" at the bottom.

i bet it will be awesome though. fx has the best shows on non-premium cable tv. justified ends tonight

Yup.

It is a combination of the fact that production values of TV has gone through the roof (so you can do real quality work) and the reality that modern movies cannot do dramatic and serious anymore because that excludes too much of the audience (look at the recent Great Gatsby movie).
