most websites do not make much money. from what i've read the forums actually lose money which the front page helps pay for.

you notice we have been getting more and more ads .... i mean its just helping cover the cost of this stuff.
 
Maybe he'll get around to working with narzy on those Anandtech T-Shirts.

Many people on the forums do not visit the main page at all.
 
Hey Anand, how about a christmas gift for all us forum members of getting that full text search and increased pm's rolled out. 🙂
It's a real pain in the arse to search for stuff in FS/FT without full text search.

subscriber had it, and i was gonna reup my subscription, but well subscriber is dead now.

 
Last I heard, he was driving a Porsche 911 Carerra with tiptronic. But that was through a friend of a friend and I'm not banking on it. I'm sure he's pretty comfortable, and has earned it.

But if you think about it, it's really none of our business.
