So the cops came to my house last night...

Ok, so I was having a party with a couple dozen friends and a few relatives this weekend celebrating that were done with half of college. Apparently some of us got quite drunk, esp me because I didnt have to drive home (but sadly had to clean up). There was 2 kegs for around 40 some people and it was all gone. So we are mostly in my parents basement playing pool, dancin, drinkin, beer pong, and listen to music. The basement is a walkout in the back and the closest house is something like 100 yards away, and there are trees in the way. I had the curtains down just to make sure no one could see us (they dont let light in). On a sidenote, I did the smart thing and lock all the bedrooms in the house so that no one got freaky on anyones bed.

Anyways, apparently the cops came by telling us that my closest neighbors were complaining of it being very loud. Keep in mind these are old people with lots of money, so they didnt take too kindly to loud rab/pop/techno music. For all you audiophiles, I (dad's) have a $5k 7.1 (7.3 technically, 2x12" in towers, 1x10"), Definitive all around and a Devon AVR-3802 receiver putting 110 watts to each speaker. The first time the cops came around they just gave us a warning and lucky didnt give me a ticket for alcohol distribution to miniors, some of my friends are still minors. So we turned down the music for like 10-15 minutes and then iirc, the cops came back and gave me a ticket for the sound being above cerfue (spelling) limits. We were at 85db 10ft outside the house... Not sure excactly how much the ticket was but I already paid for it with the cup money, and still have something like $100, so it was around $100-$150, just for being loud.

Anyways I had fun that night, atleast what I remember. And my punishment for destroying the inside of the house: Cleaning it with a nasty hangover while listening to some oldies music and having to pay for the ticket.

🙂

It was a small party 😉. I didnt want to fvck up my one and only home, besides I have to live here for the next 2.5 weeks. If any of you live/visit Duluth MN, Ill show you a real party. Dry-Ice neon dancefloor basement with awsome sound, jello wrestling once a month, multi-kegged drunken blurs. I ohnestly only remember finals weeks this last semester.
