WTF! $5200? She must have really creamed that thing to do that kind of damage to it! Good luck with the insurance and whatnot 🙁
 
The hydrant did not break.

The point of impact was in the middle of the sliding door on the driver's side. The hydrant punctured and buckled that door, but didn't break the window. The rear quarter panel and some of the flooring were also slightly buckled. The wheels did not blow, probably because there was snow and ice banked at the curb.

No one was hurt, excepting my wife's pride. Our 3 (44 month old if NSF4 is reading 😉) year was sitting in that chair and was completely untouched. Our infant was on the opposite side and slept through the whole thing.
