It's getting panned because they're billing it as a comedy and it's not funny. It's getting bad reviews because it's awful.

Right, it's not a lousy movie or anything, it's all a media conspiracy

No, it's not a comedy.
No, it's not scoring well at RT (24%).
No, the media doesn't like it.

Why might this be?

Yes, it's a good family movie.
Yes, it enforces strong traditional family values.
Yes, it exposes the evils of politics / accurate depiction of life in Washington (John Goodman).
Yes, it's a pro-environment movie.
Yes, it's religious, drawing heavily on content from Genesis.
Yes, there is prayer in the movie.
Yes, God (Morgan Freeman) is in the movie.

Finally...

Yes, it's actually a good movie!

It's only getting a 24% on RT because the powers that be in our glorious media don't like the concepts above that appear in the movie.

But don't let the media scare you. In fact, ignore them. If you want to see it, do! And bring your family along.

:)
Have you ever thought that maybe it's as not as good as you think it was? Nah that can't be it, it has to be some Liberal Media Conspiracy:laugh::roll:

everyone else has ripped this to shreds, but i want a piece.

Rotten Tomatoes is a composite score of "the media", so two of your three "no" lines are redundant.

We all know that you're conservative and we all know that the media is accused of being liberal, so it's not a large jump in logic to suppose that you're trying to rag on the "liberal media" in this case. you're doing a piss-poor job though - here's your points labelled with the side (conservative/liberal) that's popularly believed to support them:

Yes, it's a good family movie. (conservative)
Yes, it enforces strong traditional family values. (same thing as above)
Yes, it exposes the evils of politics / accurate depiction of life in Washington (John Goodman). (liberal)
Yes, it's a pro-environment movie. (liberal)
Yes, it's religious, drawing heavily on content from Genesis. (conservative)
Yes, there is prayer in the movie. (conservative)
Yes, God (Morgan Freeman) is in the movie. (a black God? liberal)

so that's 3 conservative points and 3 liberal points. maybe that means the media is "fair and balanced" in their dislike of Evan Almighty.

even if you try to make that claim that you're not accusing the media of liberal bias, these are largely topics that the media LOVES and champions.

your post makes no sense.

I sure hoped he watched the movie before going to the RT site. If he didn't he probably would have been to pissed at the critics to enjoy the movie.

Think for yourself. You'll make mistakes, but that is how we learn.

I'd rather be a sheeple who generally only sees good movies than someone who "thinks for himself" that sees craploads of god awful rubbish because they just blindly go and see random movies.

You're the type of person to call those 911 conspiracy theorists crazy when in fact you're just as nutty.
