4.3GHz certainly explains the voltage. Is that normal for Sandy Bridge-E?

EDIT: Upon closer examination of the screenshot, I see that the multiplier and BCLK are right there...

I couldn`t justify a hexacore when I built my X79 system last year. When the 4960x is released I`ll be pulling out the 3820 and dropping one in.

I've almost purchased a 3930k a few times, but can't justify the performance boost for what I do. Its like buying a Ford F-350 diesel dully for picking up lumber from Lowes when a ranger would do.

Perhaps, but that F350 might come in handy at the bar when you decide to take fatty home...and two of her friends!

Do you (all 3930K owners) think that the 3930K and the socket2011, is "the next Q6600", as far as platform longevity goes? Considering how Intel seems not to want to increase core counts on their consumer CPU line for some time.
I don't. I got into LGA2011 because I walked away from LGA1366 at the right time and got WAY more out of it than I expected. It paid me to upgrade to LGA2011........

Right, but when you can get a F350 Dually Dually for the price of a ranger, you'd take it wouldn't you!

very very nice. however given today's software titles. still prefer a 12ghz dualcore w/ HT over a 4ghz hexcore w/ HT.
