My mom put Javex into the toilet to clean it. I went to take a piss later on and upon completion, the newly made formula in the bowl started to bubble and foam. Standing there intrigued and puzzled by the strange, yet beautiful sight, I was unaware of the sudden deadly vapours rising up to my nose.

I inhaled a bit and immedietely I couldn't breathe, much less do anything but run out of the washroom. My lungs are burning, nose is burnings, and eyes are watery.

Now you know what mustard gas smells like. Contrary to popular belief, bleach plus ammonia doesn't double the cleaning power.

Yea dude, that was pretty serious. Would I be able to make mustard gas at home?

You want deadly toxic gas? Come on over...I had chili dogs for dinner last night, and they're very ripe about now.

You just did but a bit less concentrated. The Javex is full of chlorine and pee is full of ammonia.

Flush toilet?

We have a cat who can't use a litter box (not his fault, head injury). We use bleach to clean the floors. The pail will bubble and heat up (and give off chlorine gas) due to the bleach-cat urine reaction.
