So SP1 took up 2GB of my HD space...

Is this normal? The file itself is only 133mb, I archeved old files in the process...I know this would take some space too...but 2GB? What do you think?
 
Well I could see archiving, system restore, and Hibernation, combined with the download to add up to a substantial added usage of space.

Delete the restore points prior to the one it created & you can probably regain a portion of that.

when u install it.. it ask if u want to create restore/allow u to uninstall SP1.

i just picked not to because i thought it might backup many files.
