Same thing happens to me when I take my alprazolam. I hate it...only 8 more months and I won't need it anymore :)

I was on lorezapam for months (helped quell the anxiety so I could sleep). Essentially it's a low grade tranquilizer (hence the slow motion). Don't take it and expect to be functional for long. It also stays in your system fro about 12 hours depending on the dose...

You know, I think I'm missing out on something here, in this brave new pharmaceutical world. I'm not clinically depressed, I'm not bipolar, I don't have anxiety attacks, don't have ADD or ADHD. I don't even get mood swings... I am, I think, the only person I know who doesn't take any prescription drugs.

I'm weaning myself off my Lamictal as we speak, so in a couple of weeks I'll be prescription free. This is after 5 years of severe depression/insecurity/anxiety issues. Most of said issues are resolved (finally) but trust me, you're not missing anything good. Fucked up my life beyond belief.

Edit: Then again, that which does not kill you makes you stronger you weak bitch :D

Why 8 months? That seems pretty specific.

psst..Among benzodiazepines, lorazepam has a relatively high addictive potential.

I haven't taken any drugs for about 5 or 6 years. Not even a tylenol, advil, or cough syrup.
