So should I get a Herc Prophet 3 (considering the rumor they may not make them)

Simple question. Would I be hurting myself in the long run by getting a card that isn't made anymore? Provided that the rumors of Hercules and nVidia are true.

You can still use Nvidia drivers so no problem with the Herc Prophet3,I still prefer the Elsa card but then it`s your money your choice.

This is the response I got from Hercules. I sent them an email this morning and just got a response from them. They seem to be really good company since they were able to respond to my email so quickly.

If anyone has any last minute reasons for not getting Hercules please tell me. I know Herc has the blorb, and you can screw on blorbs to Elsa and Visiontek, but I don't trust myself in doing that.

I have a reason YOU DONT NEED IT RIGHT NOW. Give the gaming industry time to catch up with the Hardware makers. By the time they do there will be way better cards out in the market. But hey its your money and $400 bucks for a card is alot when DX8 games are still not flooding the market.

Just saying that the future looks impressive for the Geforce 3 owners and I suppose all other future video cards as well.

Thats just it its the future. The future isnt right now. Typically june is abad month to buy hardware anyhow, well at least video cards, when the fall cards come out the G3 is going to be down in the ranks. Even though its still a good card.
