I'm out of contract with Cingular now and I want to add to get my wife and I a family plan somewhere. Currently with Cingular, I just have a basic plan with a company-sponsored 20% discount every month. I like that discount, but service is lacking at some times.

I have a Blackberry with Nextel that seems to work decent for my job. What seems to be the best deal for 2 phones in a family plan? This is in Central Florida by the way.

Marked, my Sprint contract is up May 22 and I'm currently looking for the best deal for 2 phones in a family plan.

I like my cingular plan... I've had no issues with it at all, although the rest of my family has verizon and they get better service than I do ( but that's the difference in their protocols ).

I've been with tmobile since it was whatever companies it used to be (through its 3 incarnations). I like it alot, but i live in the boston area, so it better be good. th eonly compliant i have is when I enter certain buildings. people with verizon will get 2 or even 3 bars and I barely get 1.

If you truely do not like your service, just drop it. simple as that.

I agree, but I do not have any other experience with other providers such as Verizon or T-Mobile. Wanted to see what others have to say.

I have cingular right now. My contract ends on the 20th of this month. I am definetly switching to another carrier. I don't like Cingular's customer service, and their actual service is starting to give me problems lately. I had Tmobile before, and although the reception wasnt as good as Cingular's, their customer service was great and they have awesome phones.

However, I think Im going to jump on the Sprint Sero deal.

I've had them all, I've had Sprint, AT&T/Cingular, Nextel, Tmobile and now Verizon.

Hands down, Verizon has been the best for signal strength, working in places no other provider works in and minimal dropped calls.

Their biggest negative IMO is their monthly cost is a bit more than the rest.

The only thing I haven't liked about Cingular is the costs. Everything else is the best of any cell provider I've ever had. I could be talked into trying Verizon or some other if I found a great deal, but absolutely nothing will ever get me back to sprint. Worst. Cell. Company. EVAR!

Well, I've been doing a little research and this is what I found.

For company discounts, I get the following:
Cingular: 25% service discount, equipment very cheap.
Verizon: 22% service discount, 25% off of equipment.
Nextel: 25% service discount, 39% discount on equipment.

Cingular has something that I like. I can get 2 Motorola RAZR V3xx for $75 dollars (for both of them!) and get the 700 minute family plan for $55.99 a month (plus taxes of course).

Still looking around though...

I'm assuming you are being sarcastic since AT&T and Cingular are the same thing now. :D

Kind of... except for the fact Cingular does not exist anymore. It lingers only in name and even that will be gone by years end.

I like cingular so far but the T-Mobile Fave5 looks really tempting since i make hte most frequent calls to only a handful of people
