I've been an AudioGalaxy lover for years. Never used Napster, because AG worked perfectly for me. Even after they blocked major artists, I got good at beating the system, and getting the songs I wanted. But now, it is nearly impossible to find a song. I use Kazaa, but it seems unorganized. You get anything and everything. I guess, just like the online coupons of the late-90's, the good 'ol days of free MP3s are a thing of the past. Nothing lasts forever.

I've never had luck with that. :(

join undernet... then type "/list mp3"

poke around the channels to see how other ppl get their goods... or just ask for rules. it's pretty simple.

I use an amazing procedure called making your own. I buy a cd, place it in my cd tray, rip the tracks and encode them! Ta dah!

I think KaZaa lite wins because of the sheer number of user on the network....

Mirc is a pain

WinMX sucks nobody is sharing...

I download primarily television shows....

I was testing which was better and had all three installed and running on a dedicated T1 :)D) over a period of about a month

I got no files off of Mirc and yes I had it all set up correctly and joined good queues and had all that crap...
Maybe Five files off of WinMX
but I got a crapload off of Kazaa... not to mention for the occasional MP3's I pick up the large user base means someone is more likely to have the obscure stuff I like....

I've got most songs that I want, but occassionally I use Kazaa lite. If I like a song I'll go out and get the album. Gonna get New Order- Get Ready soon :)
