I wish this forum had more things to coorelate with your user rating or something. Those are always great forum games and it just seems as though the ratings are under-used.

For instance, a forum I help mod at (www.FXHome.com) uses rating points + or - for your posts. Everytime you get a rating point you get "Force" which then in turns makes the users lightsaber next to his avatar grow in size/color.

Or TeamXbox has a +rep feature which gives people green bars under their avatar when people give them reputation points. For such a big forum, it just seems as though there's a lack of coolability around.

But hey, I'm not coding so what room do I have to talk?

What I want to know is why we bother to have a 1 to 10 scale anyway. Does anyone ever bother to rate anyone anything besides a 1 or 10? If I feel moved to rate someone, it's because I really like or really dislike what they had to say. Why bother giving someone a 4 or whatever?

There would be a lot less abuse of this if it was a simple radio button with  . Then none of this would happen! 😛

Hmm...

I've noticed that neonerd is trying to take over my position as the king of low user ratings on these forums.

😛

He is the king of HIGH user ratings. +402 as we speak.

You can probably get higher, just a matter of finding how many digits the thing can allow.
