I wouldn't click unsubscribe, just ban the domain. Some of the shadier advertisers use the unsubscribe feature to identify active accounts. And if you have been careful like you said, these guys are shadey.

I had a clean email account until one of my friends stupidly signed me up for this stupid netflix and then I started getting this spam mail entitled: "Let's get free movie tickets!"

And ever since then, SPAM galore! I'm so pissed!

if you have an own domain, use one single email address you ONLY give to friends. For Sweepstakes or registrations, use something like company@yourdomain.com. So you can find out WHO sells your addresses or at least the thru who they got your address. For example nike@yourdomain.com if you register or have to provide an email address to Nike.

I do this, a personal account for family / friends, 2nd account for online stores / financials, and a 3rd account for forums / registration required sites. However, somehow my personal account started getting spam after 2 years and that made me sad. :brokenheart: Obviously the 3rd forum account gets about 1k spam a day . . .

I got my first spam tonight on my regular email account that I started in Jan. I've been VERY careful with it, but they found it anyway. Well, the honeymoon was nice while it lasted :disgust:
