So ridiculously hot

Right now I have idle, CPU 28-29C, Case 34C. It is so hot outside that I'm sweating in my room. Time to turn pu the fans full blast.

WTF are you talking about ridiculously hot?? I was playing COD last night and my CPU got almost up to 60C!

I don't think your CPU is gonna be cooler than your case temps.

Why anybody would complain about those temps is beyond me.

i'll check my case temps when i get home, but when it's running during the day it feels like you can fry an egg on the top of the case.. damn hot weather

Try configuring your sensors correctly, kthxbye. 😛

Hey let's not jump to conclusions here... maybe he knows a trick to thermodynamics that we don't. 😉

"Look at this perpetual motion machine she made. It just keeps going faster and faster! Lisa! In this house, we obey the laws of thermodynamics!"

Fair enough. It was just a declarative post, in a "pub" style forum. What's with all the caustic comments?

A declarative post? So you mean it's ok for me to make a thread saying "I just sat down in my office"? I think we call that 'neffing'

I'm running at 46C idle - 55 under load, so quit whining.

Good, that's about where I'm at. Was beginning to wonder if my case is an oven or something.

You're an idiot if you think 85 degrees is "ridiculously hot".

true, spend a summer up here when it's 115 in the shade with 98% humidity, then you'll know what hot is.

Case temp 43C
CPU temp 54C at idle. (XP1600 at 1.75Ghz)
Outside temp: 100F (Zip 92507)
I see no problems, and I'm just cheap and not using A/C.
