For those of you that are anti-enviroment, corrupt CEO's, and biggots congratulations on your big win.

Whats next for us true liberals, I think it is time to ditch the Democratic party as a liberal party they have shown to be quite ineffective at expressing the liberal viewpoint for quite sometime now.

This sucks, hopefully some good might possible come of this. :(

If you had enough money you could have bought a few senators too.
Or a (vice-)president for that matter.

yeah, we're for corrupt CEO's. that's why even though all the crimes happened while Clinton was Pres., and his Justice Dept. (headed by a woman who was only AG because no one had to wonder if she had a "nannygate") knew of them, Bush's AG is prosecuting them. and we're bigots. we hate idiots like you. with a passion. and if the Republicans would have pulled out of the races they were losing and put someone else in, even if it's against the law, maybe they wouldn't have lost any races.

Yes, good will come of it... my taxes will go down. BTW, republicans aren't anti-environment. We just realize that there has to be a balance in how you treat the environment and what kind of controls are necessary in industry. We also don't buy into junk science that says "the sky is falling".

Yeah, WTF is with the bigot comment? That is way out of line. You'd be pissed if I called all liberals tree-hugging, hippy, PC/Femini-nazi's.

Ryan, don't let logic get in the way. you act like you have a job. you mean you're not begging for handouts? you don't think you know how to spend my money better than i do? you don't bitch about the environment while you pound away on an ELECTRIC keyboard in the middle of the night? you live more than a mile away from work and guzzle gas everyday? oh, you must not be a hypocrite.

Hey, I'm not saying that the Dems are a whole lot better but, I think bill maher said it best when he said that the republicans piss on you and the democrats will piss on to but, they at least give you an umbrella.

I do think that both parties have a huge problem because they are both basically controlled by corporations.

Ooh! It happened during Clintons reign! That makes it allright then that it was Republicans doing it!
Al Qaida blew up the WTC, but as it happened during Bush Presidency I guess we should just forget about it!

I wouldn't be offended if I was called a tree hugger ( I like trees and they play an important part in a stable environment), Hippy (Hippys are good peeps and fought for their rights and the rights of others, I don't see anything wrong with that), PC/Femini-nazi's (Now this one doesn't even make since but, the feminist movement was a very important step to ensure rights for all people).

You're just jealous cause you don't have elections in your country. ;) Two guys just fight on a block of ice, and whoever wins become Grand Poobah for 7.2 years.

Whatever, you aren't seeing my point. Calling republicans bigots is way out of line. Bigotry and racism can (and does) span ALL political parties. I know democrats (straight ticket democrats) that are extremely racist. I don't guess it is going to do much good to argue with you though...

Don't even bother, he's just spouting what mommy and daddy and his college professors put in his ear. Once he gets out in the real world and has to work for a living he'll figure out how things work.

Not only do you whine like a pimple faced school girl who couldn't get felt up in a house full of drunken fraternity guys, you have to insult people by calling them bigots and associating them with scandals that took place right under the nose of your own party.

Gawd damn pathetic, if you ask me.

I have never seen a party do so little with so much.
First they loose presidency when economy is good with a democrat president. Then they lose senate with sucky economy with a republican president.
They have no message. They know that taxes need to be increased to decrease the deficit but are affraid to say it. They mascarade as republicans to get elected. Until they get a platform to vote for, I am not voting.
I would vote republican if I ever saw them balance a budget in my lifetime. I doubt it's going to happen. Anyways I think US is getting dragged down with these debts. We might spend ourselves into oblivion like the USSR.

We have elections in about 2 months. A new, rightwing party got in the government, fought among themselves, tried to enrich themselves, and made the government crash in less than half a year time.

Taxes don't need to be increased. The tax cut didn't cause the present deficit. The recession did. To reduce the deficit you have to increase the tax base, not the tax rate.

I've seen the "let's tax ourselves out of debt" thing go horribly wrong on a local scale. Trust me, you cannot tax your way to prosperity. Tax increases only LOWER the tax base, and LOWER the actual take our government gets.

Tax increases and increased spending WILL send us down the same road the USSR went. Tax cuts and decreases in spend will reverse that. If it takes a large deficit and panic, fine. But they get no more money until they learn to live within their means. To you, the liberal, this means LESS socialist policies.

Most Republicans are extremely racist, feel no need to listen to the other side and they stole the presidential election.

At least that is what the dems would have you believe...
