So now that the Palestinians have elected Hamas to represent them..

My money is on a FAR Right party in Israel. Netanyahu is probably thrilled with these election results from last night. He now has the ability to campaign on a platform of failed peace, detailing how the Israelis gave up their security buffer in Gaza only to be rewarded with a dominant victory by Hamas.
Every Action has an equal and opposite reaction, so can we expect a hardline Israeli party that will come to power as a reaction to the fear Israelis now have for their safety. With the next election coming soon, I can't see it any other way. Things are going to get nasty in Middle East in the next 3-4 months, even if Hamas has intentions to lessen the rhetoric. The tit for tat violence we have witnesses over the past few years will seem like peanuts once the gloves come off for both sides.
