I picked up the Zelda Wii U bundle but they did not mention anything for the 3dsXL Zelda. Sad to me that they are not doing a bundle on a new game vs a remake. Or do you think it is too early to say it is not possible.
 
still wish they put this game out on the wii-u. i woulda spent $350 to buy a wii-u and this game, but i won't spend $150 or whatever it is to play it on a ds.
 
Agreed that they should have released the game on Wii U. Even if it is a top down adventure HD graphics would have been awesome. Would have easily translated well to the gamepad second screen.

I thought video games would not eat into my winter budget but too much Zelda stuff is coming out lol. That is the one franchise I can't resist.

This is the one Zelda game I am interested in. It does seem unfortunate that they are putting this out on 3DS..but I would hope they would also release it on the U at some point.

I hate that they moved to digital copies now though.

My DS Lite had a retail boxed Zelda gold DS and a retail boxed Phantom Hourglass thrown into a bigger bundle box. Now its a shitty digital copy so I'm forced to buy a physical copy too.

Yeah going through the same thing with Windwaker. Buying Bundle and collector's edition game. Hopefully I can sell the game code for a decent price.

pretty sure the new wii-u mario game is basically a ported 3ds game.

Definitely too early. They commonly don't announce a bundle until 1 month before release.

Just look at the Windwaker HD bundle. It was announced less than a month before it comes out.

Pokemon X and Y 3DS bundles haven't been announced yet, but I bet they are coming too.

A Zelda 3DS bundle would be announced sometime in october, I'd guess.

That is wrong. While they may be similar in spirit, the Wii U game sports completely different worlds/levels/assets while adding new powerups as well as 4 player local co-op. There are only similar as far as basic premise.

It is more like a console sequel.

You can't see digital version of the game. It is preloaded onto the console.

You can sell the physical copy from the limited edition WindWaker HD though, if you just want the figure.
 
Hmm the pokemon ones were launched within 30 days of Pokemon X and Y.

Zelda edition Wii U launched 30 days before Wind Waker HD.

I suspect if there is a Zelda 3DS XL it will be launched late October, 30 days before Link Between Worlds.

For the record, if they give you the digital copy of the game, you don't have to buy the physical copy. You have the game. It's not Nintendo's problem you want to sell the system.
 
I believe I was referring to yardsale pickers that cock block everyone else from the only place left to get deals now that craigslist and eBay is dominated by resellers.

Anybody can still pre order a Wii U or 3DS right now at MSRP if they want one despite my buying an extra one or two.
