We are going to Niagara Falls for our 10 year aniversery and THe draft is next weekend. I suck at the schedule!

ANd to top if off the chargers pick later in the draft so I am sure we will be out of the room! So no draft for me.

UPDATE -

So after My Wife sees the thread (I sent it) she joins ATOT and posts, then someone calls shens so I post her myspace.

Come to find out that I AM not in her top 8 (so therefor I am not on the first page !)

So I question it I get told that I don't have a picture on my page4 (i didn't)

So she moves me up ( to #5 :|) and Adds a picture to my page.

And I still don't know if I am gonna watch the draft :(

What does it matter? Do you think you being able to watch it will change the picks? or that they will make more intelligent picks? Get over yourself, and have a good time with your wife...

Get updates sent to your phone.

Or, get caught with a hooker between now and Saturday :)

maybe its because i could care less about pro football, but yea... why the hell watch the draft in the first place? does watching it as it happens effect anything compared to just reading it on the interweb?

well, if by "fan", you mean "FANATIC", then true...I do NOT believe that watching the draft will alter it's outcome, nor that missing a game will make "MY" team lose...PLUS, I don't believe that "WE" are going to win, since the last time I looked, they haven't issued ME a uniform, nor mailed me a check....I DO have teams I like to watch, but never bought into the "LIVE for a TEAM" attitude. It's a sport...a GAME...I watch it to have fun, not because I'm delusional about my importance to the team...

Contest. I love football, but I would much rather read about the draft picks later on then watch that crap proceed for hours on television.

OK to give some people some backround here when I was doing interviews I had to fly to AZ and I rescheduled the interview around the chargers playoff schedule. (we delayed the trip) this has been rescheduled a few times so changing it at this point I can not. I will have a friend of mine text message me the picks I suppose.

We fly out on wends. and leave on Sunday so I am Guessing staying in the room all day Sat. is out :(

Okay I had to join just so I could reply to this. As his wife all I can say is he's welcome to spend Saturday in the hotel watching the draft. I however will not be with him.

Never understood why people's lives revolve around sports...

At the end the day, I just turn on the news or read about it in the paper the next morning...

Gawd I wish all sports fans had this attitude. Not that it really matters to me anyway I just get sick of people acting like 10 year old on account of a game they aren't even playing.

Exactly. I love college and pro football. I love college basketball. But there is no way that I would put that in front of my personal relationships... That's pretty lame. If it came down to having dinner with somebody I cared about or watching the NCAA finals or the superbowl, I'd pick a good dinner with good conversation any day.
