so newegg is owned by the same people that started/owned egghead?

just wondering. my uncle told me that the other day. i dont find it that hard to believe just cuz how they hell do you think up a name of a company using egg. but egghead got so big it went under when most .coms went under. but will newegg suffer the same fate or did the owners learn? or is my uncle out of it, and the same ppl didnt own both?

That always confused the hell out of me. I used to shop at Egghead.com, then I heard they went out of business.... then I starting hearing about Newegg a few years ago... and I thought "hmmm, Egghead is back now!"..... but the names confused me...

Now I think you just cleared it up for me.

the reason i believe him is cuz he has been cfo of a lot of companies.

including

nature company when they had 16 stores and grew to like 400
reel.com or some other online vhs purchasing place.
an online kitchen knife shop.
online chef shop.
now he is cfo of dwr.com (design within reach)

so he sorta knows what hes talking about.

a guy emailed a newegg rep asking him this and he said no not at all there is NO RELATION between the two


people were saying maybe they arent allowed to tell of it but i doubt it i believe


search for my name and then look it should be on first page
