RMA wants me to send in my cut power cord (so that I won't reuse / resell my speaker system) along with my control panel (headphone jack died today).
I can't dupe the power cord because there's writing all over it, but I was wondering if there was some way to cut the power cord from another device and splice the cables, tape it up, and reuse my speaker system again.
I mean, the only thing that's broken is the headphone jack, but they're telling me to mess up the sub so I can't use the system at all.
Why don't they just have me send in the control panel (w/ the headphone jack) and send a refurbished one / new control panel back to me?
