Another of my favorite sandwich's is this:
Get two strong cabbage leaves - roll up some ham in it (I usually use shaved Virgina Baked), smear a little horseradish. . . and I tie it off with a piece of string. I broil this till the leaf is brown. . . (not burnt).
I untie it, and place the leaf with the meat and horseradish on a piece of hard toasted sour dough that is slathered with creole mustard that I've mixed with some cayenne to give it more kick. Place some thinly sliced sharp cheddar on top and broil for like 1 minute. I eat this with some pickled onion. . .
