myself, i have a few tattoos but i don't wear my earrings (3 holes in left ear, 2 in right) anymore. Mainly out of laziness, took them out for some dental xray things and never put them back in

Oh, and for the OP, I'd let her do whatever the hell she wants. you can say you don't like the idea, but wouldn't you be in more sh!t if you didn't let her do what she wanted? besides, if she gets the piercings and later changes her mind and regrets it, you can always hang the old "i told you so!" over her head.

I'll second that. Don't get me wrong I've been with 3 different girls that have had tounge rings, but I'm in my early 20's and so are they, at 35 being a manager and a mother of 4 seems like a midlife thing to do more than anything else.

Major changes in appearance are in the top 10 of potential affair possibilities.

You said you have tattoos though...so if you are hanging regularly with people bearing tats and more than likely piercings then your lady may be just trying to fit in.

I agree with your philosophy of letting her do what she wants....that's what I do, the people who don't get it are usually not in marriages or in abusive ones.

If one does not like what their spouse does you first talk to them about it and try for a compromise or an end of the activity. If that does not work you have to suck it up or move on. End of story.

Most of them don't know how to use the manufacturer's installed equipment before getting the modifications, either.

I wouldn't stop my wife from it (she is a free person). But it would shock me if she wanted them, to say the least. I don't like body piercings any more than I like tats, but to each their own.
