So my UPS package is ~20 miles away from my house

My RMA video card is coming in via UPS 3-day, and is scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. However, right now it's just 20-30 miles away from my house. I gave UPS a call, and they said that it will still be delivered on Tuesday no matter what. But, there was just a thread a couple days ago of a guy who got a package 4 days early.

So was this woman just saying it to play it safe, or is there no chance of me getting it on Monday?

And if it works like the distribution places around my house, they won't let you pick it up until they try to deliver it at least once 🙁

I'm in the same situation, I think. Post Canada has, or should have my package, but since Monday is also a holiday, they get the day off.

Get in your car, bring the tracking number and drive your ass over there and pick it up if you want it that bad.

It's still moving around. It just departed the location it was in. Turns out it was 50 miles away, not 20-30 😱.

Waiting for something to be delivered is always nerve-wracking.

Enter the tracking number...check the location of package...repeat...repeat...and then repeat again. Scheduled day finally arrives. Hear noise on porch, go to door with fingers crossed. Realize it's the neighbor's cat. Go back and site down disappointed. Repeat several more times.

Package finally arrives. Set it down. Stare at it for a few minutes. Then rip it open to find:

(1) Yeah! It's finally here!
or
(2) Sucks! Wrong item. Throw package across the room while figuring out what number to call (and wait on hold for 30 minutes) to get an RMA number.

Thats just how it is routed. Just cause it is 50 miles doesn't mean anything

Maybe they have like 60 other overnight packages that are also 50miles within people

thats standard policy

Sometimes I think people would be better off if shipping companies didn't allow customers to query their shipments. You paid for your package to be delievered in 3 days, that's what you'll get.

I have gotten packages sooner then estimated several times 😀....then also it was times that they horribly missed the date :disgust:....
