So my Notebook Fan died..

Does anyone know where you can get a replacement for a dead Notebook Fan exhaust fan? Warrenty is gone, the notebook in question is a Compaq 2200.
 
Anyone know if it is possible to replace it with a generic fan? HP/ebay has ridiculous prices (>$20). I have looked hi and low, and it seems that most websites only sell desktop fans.
