AC is a fun game, but not worth $20. I grabbed it from the Gamestop deal that was posted a few weeks ago for what ammounted to around $7.

At $7 it's definitely worth it. Not so much at $20. I don't see a lot of replay value and the trade in value is abysmal.

I saw the Half Life Orange Box on sale at Walmart the other day for $15. If you don't have that yet, it's a great value.

Was it for the 360? I have one copy, but would love another seeing as I have to 360s and two older boys who play. This way I can backstab my son and not get arrested :D

I know it's fun to hate on AC, but I think it's a cool game. I am the explorer type of gamer though, so maybe it appeals to me more than most.

Personally I think both those games at those price points are a steal--especially MGS4.

Not hating on AC, but replay value is non-existant. It was a great game though, although a good bit repetitive at the end there. They'd have cleared that up SO easily by varying the missions a lil' bit.

I dunno about MGS 4 but that's not a fantastic price for AC.

As stated though, if you don't have The Orange Box, get it. Especially that price. Single best value for a video game I've ever seen, 5 full games in one, all are excellent.

MGS4 was one of the best games I've played for the PS3 - pick it up.

AC was also a good game - the only bad thing I can say about it is that it runs kind of choppy.

Good price on MGS4, AC is a decent price, but it could be obtained for cheaper if you were willing to look around a bit.

I really didn't like AC. It has a number of problems. MGS4 is a better tactical espionage game. For $39, you get a heck of a lot of content including Metal Gear Online.

Amazon shows MGS4 at $49.99 and AC at $27.99. I did google and find both games at similar prices but at online retailers I've never heard of before.

MGS4 is a good price at $60 IMO lol

for assassin's creed, i've heard mixed things. supposed to be some cool stuff, but overall a bad repetitive game, so not sure if its worth $20 to try out

assassin's creed is not worth 20 dollars - it's worth 50 cents to make it look like you own 1 more game than you do, so they look cool together in a drawer

I enjoyed Assassin's Creed. Unless you want to wait a few more months on the chance you'll see it for $10-15 and save a few dollars, I'd buy it.

AC is worth the $30 its going for new, so $20 is a good deal. MGS4 was worth it to me at $60, but $40 is good price. You can probably find both cheaper used.

No way AC is worth it unless you enjoy playing the same level over and over from the beginning of the game to end.

That pretty much sums up the game. It looks excellent but the combat system is crap and the pacing is vary slow. You spend more time walking from point A to point B more than anything else. Arguably MGS4 is like that as well but it just feels more intense and theatrical, even if you're just sneaking around. AC just has a lot of things about it that annoy me. (Oh how badly I wanted to kill the bums that keep accosting you for money.)
