I tutor at-risk youths during the free time and I have been assigned with this one 2nd grader

He doesn't like me because he says I'm too boring

I honestly don't care.. I just wanna get paid but on second thought, maybe I do need to change my personality and be more less inhibited

🙁

i wouldn't really take personality advice from a second grader.......but being more outgoing can be a good thing.

true that, I'll teach him how to catch a fast ball aimed at his face
Don't forget "wrench training". If he can dodge a wrench he can dodge a ball. 😉

7 year olds think everything is boring

take him to the wilderness and leave him for 7 days by himself. then maybe he'll appreciate your company more

I don't get it.. I must be too boring to understand

Then just buy him a pair of L.A. Gears. Kids love those! 😀

lol, a 2nd grader has knocked the confidence out of you. 😛

Cheer up, maybe he thinks your tutoring methods are boring and maybe they are, so don't mope, just have some more fun.
