Plenty of people have experienced this before. They either stopped downloading movies like a retard or they stopping getting on the net.

your IP is flapping in the breeze

so what were you busted for? Maybe it's the MPAA's turn for a scared-straight week.

I have Adelphia and use BT all the time...but only to download legal DJ mixes from ETS Global...

Never had a problem...

i suggest you format your comp. they might bring some people over to scan your hd. simply deleting a file is not enough since they can recover it (maybe). safest bet is to format it.

Shows what you know, no0b.

Dban for eternity for best results with working drive, or physical destruction to be sure.

Formatting the hard drive won't do a damned thing. You have to overwrite the files. :)

I have Adelphia...and I only occasionally use BT, and not for movies/music/TV shows.

Go to the dslreports.com Adelphia forum..quite a few people have been shut off before for copyright infringement.

And to those saying format your drive...not necesary(sp?). Just be thankful it was a warning and not a lawsuit.

format isn't enough, I recommend totally destroying the hard drive, grinding the platters and spreading the dust in periodic intervals along several different highways

I got a letter from my ISP about dowloading a TV ep once. I told them I found a person that was on my wireless network that wasn't supposed to be and he most likely was the one that downloaded it. I then thanked them for pointing me at an security flaw on my network and they turned my connection right back on :D

I now don't use BT at all anymore and I wait a few extra hours for it to show up on newzbins and get it that way

Oh, PLEASE... They're not going to be allowed to come into your house without a search warrant. Stop being so paranoid!
