Its limited to NV chipsets. Could possibly do 4 x 3870X2 though, but I think AMD has only outlined 4 GPU CF for now.

Oh wtf. Bout time, I'm so tired of NV chipsets. Oh well this board will probably cost $500 so not an option for me. 4x GX2 seems a stretch though, I think they're finally pulling their Quad-SLI drivers together which would only be 2 x GX2.

I'd wait to see actual boards in the wild running 2+ cards until making any choices on that - until we see a real rig with 4 way SLI or CF I'm not going to take the claims that it will or won't work as other than opinion

Bad news!!! The Skulltrail board will not support 4 physical cards at all. It also won't support 3 way sli either.
