now, since this thing came with no plug & play capabilities, all it came with were the actual adapter, as well as a floppy. When I first tried it, I tried playing Fifa 2006 but many of the buttons dont work. but when i go into control panel and check the controllers, it works when i test them! Is there some kind of program that enables me to use this thing as a plug & play peripheral?

This is what my friend has to say on this issue...

got 1 controller already, microsoft sidewinder, works fine, connected the adapter and installed drivers, checked control panel and see the adapter and it works fine in there, epsxe(playstation emulator) works fine with the adapter i can use it perfectly, but any other games dont work, like nfs:most wanted, ff8, they dont recognize the adapter as a controller, i cant see the adapter as a controller
so, i cant choose it to set the buttons or anything.

I need some AT help right about now for my friend! Any valuable input would be greatly appreciated!

its not just that, it's a lot of game that don't support it.
