So, my dad left (or it wasent given back) his credit card at some gas station the other day.
No biggie, Chase figured it out after only 1 or 2 purchases, and AFAIK we dont have to pay anything. I got the call from Chase after I got home from work, and the guy was really cool.
The next day actually i saw a commercial on tv that was from like all the major credit card compaines, saying how you dont have liability, ect, ect.
Anyway, why dont (more) credit card companies put peoples picture on the card? I'm sure they know that NO ONE checks the signature or ID.
They could "force" clerks to "check photo" on the card. I mean have the system ask the clerks to hit "Y" for correct ID.
So, why dont they?
The only thing i can come up with is that the cost of implimentation of a photo on every card is greater then the money they would save.
Your take?
