So my dad just sent me an e-mail

lol, burned. My parents are getting TVs for a house in FL they just got. There's going to be a 56" plasma whereas we're stuck with a 10 year old 55" rear-projection. I'd much rather get the new TV and not the house.
 
What's funny is he called me earlier today to tell me that he bought an HDTV and wanted to know how to hook it up to his laptop. 😛

my dad has been online since before I was born. he's the one who got me interested in computers. he used to sit me in front of the computer and I would read these interactive kids stories that Prodigy had.

heh my dad called me during the super bowl to brag about how it looked on his new 42(or something like that. could be 45) inch widescreen HD tv. since all i have is a 37inch tube TV =(

Considering he just started useing the computer about 2 years ago he is ok with it. He found one of the online radio stations that allows him to pick the music etc. He loves that. so he had to buy a new set of speakers etc.

My mother is great on computers. Before she retired she was head of IT for some company in Oregon state. She has a version of Linux on her desktop (she dislikes MS) and got mad when i asked for a copy of Win XP for my computer (she has like 20 license's). She also builds computers and sends me parts for gifts heh.

lol. I need a new engine and he goes and buys a new tv which he doesn't need that costs twice as much. 🙁
