It only sounds weird now. But if everyone started saying that, eventually it will sound just as natural as using the word cheating. It just takes time to get used to. For example, people google things now... not search it. like whoa!


edit: Though we have made significant advancements, the technological age is fairly infant so I wouldn't put it past people to amend definition of technical terms as technology and computer usage specifically penetrate more global markets. Hacked just happens to be a popular word[admittedly due to the media] for when something happens to you [digitally?] without your authorization.
