So my brother bought a 2003 Chevy Venture, good choice?

He needed more room since my sister in law is expecting. He wanted to get a Toyota Sienna or a Honda Odyssey. With the features he wanted the Chevy Venture was perfect and was a heck alot cheaper. How reliable is this van?

Good question. Next time ask ahead of time....

He should have bought the Toyota.

Hope he has an extended warranty.

Not a good choice, nice van, crappy reliability. We have a 2000 Venture that has been babied. 65K miles and over $5500 in repairs between 36K and 63K miles.

There's a good reason why American cars are so cheap. It's because they suck. You will probably spend as much or more than a comparable Japanese car in repairs, trips to the dealer and time lost.
