So my 4 yr old son is an EXCEPTIONAL lego toy builder

slag

Lifer
So good in fact he can create houses, monsters, robots, cars, walls, castles, anything from just ordinary lego blocks. He is much better at building with legos than his 2 yr old brother is.

How far should we take this stuff? He wants more legos for christmas but im concerned that he isnt playing enough computer games, etc

wow, being a parent can be difficult sometimes.

If we get him legos, and he likes them so much that he goes on to be an architect, he won't realize our dream of him becoming a neurosurgeon and he will be so busy that he wont have time to do fun stuff.

OTOH, if we push him towards being a doctor and his real love is building, are we doing him a disservice?
