Signed up for sprint in february with a Sanyo 5300 (Camera Phone)....

About a week after, i had a few calls get charged for roaming (when roaming was turned off) i brought the phone in for a test and it failed. So they give me a new one.

Well i noticed this past week my phone battery has been lasting for only 6-7 hours. Bring this new one in, and it fails as well.

Now i have to wait 3-4 days until they can order me another new one.

Is this common with sprint phones? Or am i just unlucky?

I think you're just unlucky. Sprint stores in my area can't even freakin' update the software on my 5300. I'm still on 1.032SP:disgust: I got my phone the day after it hit the shelves and its been workin' great, however. I did head that some of the initial batches had problems but it seems at this point they shouldn't. Are they giving you refurbished phones?

I think it's time for a switch for Verizon. Sprint (in San Diego at least) has got to be the worst provider next to Cingular. Those two have such horrible coverage in San Diego, I'm surprised so many people still stick with them. Cingular is getting so desparate they're changing all their plans now too to try and give more minutes.
