So much blood!!!

So my gums are pretty much fubared. Don't know what happened to them but they are all inflamed.

It's intense.

Brushed them last night and this morning. Last night it was amazing.. my entire mouth was covered in blood. By the time I finished brushing them I couldn't even see my teeth.. my mouth was about as red with blood as a mouth can get. When I spit out the toothpaste there was no hint of white left in it.. it was just a deep red foam. I was holding onto the wall as I was brushing them because I needed to brace for the pain.

This morning when I woke up I figured pain would be a good way to get myself awake and motivated for the day so I brushed them again. Not as much blood but still lots of pain. Woke me up so fast I didn't even know what was going on.

new toothbrush, stiffer bristles? Haven't brushed in a few days? How often do your brush your GUMS?

When you brush your teeth, you need to brush your gums too, to strengthen them. Not as strenuously as your teeth, but you'll know how hard you can go when they start bleeding to hurting.

Guess I forgot to brush my gums for the past.. uhh.. 6 months. Also went to a harder toothbrush with out noticing it. Went back to a soft one like I am supposed to use and started brushing my gums twice a day.

Also dosent help that I am a mouth breather.. dentist always told me that screws up your gums.
