So many versions for Windows XP? Difference between them?

I heard so many different version of Windows XP from people.
Build2600, 2601....
There are also the coporate edition?
What's their difference?
Could someone please tell me?
 
There are two different versions, Home and Professional.

Some people have talked about a "Corporate Edition", this is not really a "version" of the system. It is simply a sku that represents the Professional version without product activation. You will not be able to purchase this version outside of volume licensing.

Build 2600 is the official RTM build.

There is a "64-bit version" on the site that "non" linked for you.

There is also a Windows 2002, although this may be the "Corp" version, which may be the 64-bit one?!😕

Windows 2002 refers to the server versions that will come out next year. They were planning on naming it Windows 2002 but it looks like they are going to use one of their .net monikers instead.

Windows XP Home Edition
Windows XP Professional Edition
Windows XP 64-Bit Edition (for Itanium processors)

There will be the usual different versions of each, full version, upgrade, Select (for corporate users that have a MS Select deal in place), MSDN, etc. The only difference between these are the licensing and activation piece and the install piece for the upgrade versions (they make you prove you own a qualified previous Windows version).
