Here in TO, everyone pretends other people doesn't exist on the subway. You never know if somebody is going to do some weird shit to you. No eye contact or random conversations, EVER.

It's always kind of funny since you might look around the subway car at some people, and you catch someone looking at you. Then they look away, and you look at their reflection in the window. Then they look in the window and see you watching, so you look away.
