I work in Manhattan and 95% of Indian people that I work with live in NJ. I think because it's cheap and easy transportation to the city.

My moms house always smelled like basil. To this day I equate it to home. Food smells. Get over it.

There is a section like that in Cupertino, where its like every apartment complex in a two block radius is occupied by Indians. Not that different than any other group coming into the US. First time in a new country you want to be around your own kind to ease the transition. Many older big cities still have Little Italys, Japantowns, ChinaTowns, Irish, Little Odessas, etc.

sunnyvale is one fo those cities though where everyone is pretty upper middle class, but its still all the same race.

Lived 5 years in Sunnyvale. If you see a Toyota Corolla there on the street, you could bet and win money 9 out of 10 times that its being driven by an Indian.
