Ugh... that didn't last long. Now I know why we have OT! Guess there's bound to be a lull once in a while. 😉

While I was gone, I went out and bought a new toilet at Uncle Marty's Outlet. It's installed, but I haven't given it a test drive yet. 🙂

The toilet it replaced was friggen cursed. I replaced the shutoff valve on it at least four times over the last 15 years, the flapper valve several times and the tank to bowl seal at least once. It's needed a plunger several times over the years and I'm sick of it!

Once when my oldest son was two years old, he came running into the bathroom and launched a stick of Mennen deodorant just as my wife flushed... flew seven feet through the air and into the toilet at just the perfect time to be inhaled. Yep, I had to remove the toilet to get it out. Like I said, it's CURSED! :frown:

She had to work today, so she'll be surprised to see it when she gets home. Maybe I'll put some bunny ears on it and tell her it's an Easter surprise 🙂

DAMN STRAIGHT! You don't have to wander too far from ATOT to see how lame forums can get. It must be the combination of tech heads attracted to AnandTech, mixed with firm & fair moderating that has shaped this little corner of the Web. I ain't goin' anywhere else, anytime soon! You ALL rock! 😉
