Signed up last week, sold some stock, want my money, then my account and sit there idle (don't care). I see how to move money in, to buy and sell, but nowhere in the account can I find out how to get this massive cash ($555!) back into my chequing account. I could cust service, but they are no good.

*mild corrections*

It would appear you should call the closest branch and have them wire funds to your bank acct.

LMFAO, I just read it and the SCARY thing is that I did not realize I was missing entire words as I wrote it.

do an ACH or whatever they are called.. dont do wire, it will cost a lot of money, like $30-50.

with ameritrade i can just move money directly from my brokerage account to my checking account or vice versa in a matter of seconds and it shows up the next business day. i would imagine all online brokers have this.

Won't letting the account sit empty run up "account maintenance fees"? If you have under $5K at most places they charge $10 - $40 a quarter.

You might be better off cashing out by closing the account, and opening a new one when you're ready.

Scottrade has no maintanance fee.

To cash out call the local branch and they will mail you a check. There is no ACH into your bank account. Only from Bank account to scottrade.

You spam the world with e-mails telling then that you are a Nigerian Prince and that you need to get 555 wired out of you're ScottTrade account, and that if someone helps you, they will get 10%.
