They probably won't postpone the election but it will certainly be an asterisk in the history books with Romney winning because so much of the votes that would have gone to Obama being not cast in the Northeast because of the storm.

Congress isn't coming back from campaigning, and the most that will likely happen at the state level anywhere would be voting for national candidates on paper ballots, postponing other selections until later. Maybe out of precinct voting. Only if state law allows even that.

Unless for some reason Sandy made it so only Republicans can get to the polls in NE states it seems unlikely it would effect the electoral college.

Although it probably does increase the chances of a Romney popular vote win. I wonder if Democrats will call for Obama to step aside for the "real" winner?
